About this business
Snow Farm Vineyard began as a dream on the West Shore of South Hero, Vermont. In an effort to preserve Vermont's agricultural land in the face of rapid development by providing an alternative for farmers, grapes were planted in the fields. Our location, on an island in the middle of Lake Champlain permits us to grow cooler climate vinifera grapes, Pinot Noir and Riesling, as well as the more cold hardy French Hybrids, Vidal Blanc and Baco Noir. My husband and I went well out of our way to make a stop here today as their hours are listed as 11-5. We arrived at 11:30 but they were clearly not open. We rang the doorbell twice and tried calling, but there was no answer. Very disappointing. Hours should be updated or post that you aren't open.

Nice place, nice people! we enjoyed so much our evening last thursday with the outside concert and food trucks. Really fun atmosphère!
A nice selection of Vermont wines. We only sampled the dry wines and found them to be very delicious. Nice setting to enjoy a glass or bottle of wine with cheese and crackers.
Music and atmosphere was great!
