Snow Farm Vineyard began as a dream on the West Shore of South Hero, Vermont. In an effort to preserve Vermont's agricultural land in the face of rapid development by providing an alternative for farmers, grapes were planted in the fields. Our location, on an island in the middle of Lake Champlain permits us to grow cooler climate vinifera grapes, Pinot Noir and Riesling, as well as the more cold hardy French Hybrids, Vidal Blanc and Baco Noir. Great wines beautiful atmosphere and the summer concerts are so much fun. A community event!
RecommendedVery pretty. Nice selection of wines. We're not big red drinkers so let us do a all white tasting. The guy at the bar was great and informative. The inside has local stuff to buy. Beautiful paintings. Just a nice place to stop.

Very knowledgeable staff and some delicious wines! First time trying ice wine, and really enjoyed the flavors. Worth the drive to the island!
