Met with friends for dinner...seated timely, drinks ordered and received, dinner ordered and served...all four different meals were excellent. Dessert was great...triple chocolate cake. I will go out of my way to dine at Smugglers every time I visit Erie.
Service was poor and slow. Maybe we got a new girl so that's okay. Food was disappointing especially for the price. Walleye was bland, steak was not even close to good. Crab cakes were good though and the vines around the veranda were cool. Would not go back though.
We loved it. Beautiful scenery. Staff was nice and attentive. Food was delicious. We will definetly be back.
We had the lobster roll and crab soup for lunch and it was delicious. Our waitress was very sweet. I loved the atmosphere of the place.
Me and my partner were heading home from a road trip to New York from Indianapolis. We decided to take a pit stop in Erie. Found this gem on our way out to the isle to see the lake. Had a delicious fresh lunch under the grape vines on their beautiful patio. Service wasnt the most amazing but friendly and fast. Perfect ending to an amazing trip!
Coconut shrimp and perch dinner were both great!

Always excellent food excellent service. Friendly atmosphere and beautiful view. I Don't like sea food but my husband does and he's always satisfied with his meals. Bonus....the BEST carrot cake in town.
Numerous visits here..food is always good..service is excellent, prices a bit high but that can be overlooked, menu choices are a bit on the low side but still good enough..expanding their menu would make this place even better...scenic as always..would highly recommend
