We LOVE Smoque!!! We stop there whenever we are close to Chicago and we live in Indiana.
Best ribs I have had. Sauce on the side is a nice touch. Pulled pork nice and tender. Great service. Glad we got there right after 11:00 am for lunch. It filled up fast. Pecan bread pudding delicious. Warmed up with ice cream would be even better. Definitely going back.

Went with the pulled pork platter and had macaroni and chili as the sides, along with the cold slaw. I had no real issues with the pork. It was tender and flavorful. I wanted to like the Carolina sauce. I really wanted to, but it just didn't give me the taste I was looking for. The Memphis sauce was some good stuff. Can't get there too late or they run out of Baby Back Ribs...missed them again on this visit.
I'm from KC. We easily have the best BBQ. But, Smoque was so good! No regrets! I had the 1/2 chicken and it was cooked to perfection. My fiancé had the St. Louis ribs, which he gobbled up. He told me they had the best taste. My soon to be mother-in-law had the brisket and it was so perfectly cooked, it was falling apart when she picked it up. Well done, Chicago. Well done. �
This place is busier than McDonald's . The only difference is :Great tasty food ! I wish they'd have the spicy bbq ...
