I can not say enough good thing about Smoky Mountain Hospice. They cared for my Mom the last 8 months of her life. She lived in my home the entire time, so on a weekly basis I was able to see the amazing care with which the nurse (and the doctor) approached my Mom. Mom had both advancing dementia and terminal cancer, so at times communication could be a challenge. Mom's team always went above and beyond to make sure Mom was comfortable in her last months. Smokey Mountain Hospice has an amazing team. They are locally owned and managed. Only 6 offices in East TN. As a result they only hire the best professionals. They cared for my mother in my home and every single team member was amazing. They provided a personal nurse, bather, clergy, doctor, and social worker. I initially called them over the weekend and needed to set up a place for my mother to come in less than 24 hours. We were moving her here from 300 miles away and they made it happen! Smokie mountain hospice took such good care of my mother her last 3 months of life they made sure I knew exactly what was going to happen though each step they were so caring and loving to me and my family Thank you so much for you kindness Jeanna smith
