The atmosphere and the food are wonderful but what really really makes this place so special is Caffeine Carl and his band. Phenomenal guitarist and great covers of so many classic hits. We loved it so much we went two nights in a row!
My husband and I hosted our welcome party for our wedding at the Smokin Tuna on June 1 after our original venue canceled on us 6 weeks before the wedding. We scrambled to find a new venue and stumbled across the Smokin Tuna....it was the best decision we could have made! $7 for a Yeungling draft at 5:00 ? Holy crap ! I'm a local and now I know why I never bother going there. So many other places with decent happy hours !!
My fave venue in all of Key West! There, you'll find the most amazing staff...fantastic musicians (Caffeine Carl for example!), awesome bartenders and wait staff, on-point sound guys, management and ownership!!! Love them.
We are new residents to KW and have been visiting different places around town. Ed and Erin were very welcoming. Whether you are local or frequent visitors to KW (formerly 😎) a great staff is what make people want to come back. The music and atmosphere was bouncin'. Our next time in we will try the menu and thanks to your staff, there will be a next time. See you soon ✌🏼️
