We were extremely pleased with Smokey's Garage Door. When our opener broke, we called the company that had originally installed our door, but they were unable to come for a week. They referred us to Smokey's and they were able to come out the very next day and came early in the day, notified us when they were on their way and were here on time. This company was sent to my home as a contractor to repair or replace my garage door opener. However when the tech arrived, he stood approximately 10 feet away from my broken garage door opener and immediately called his supervisor. When his supervisor answered the phone, the tech stated "we should deny this claim and charge them full price out of pocket". He stated he had other pressing jobs waiting and we can just say the owner broke the opener and deny this repair. All along I was observing this from my in house security ... read more

Used car salesman at best ! It just goes to show that even thou a business may have a 3, 4 or 5 star rating on Google, it sometimes means nothing. I had a warranty claim and this was the pathetic garage door company that was sent to my home to repair my door opener. However when the tech arrived at my home he forgot he was going to be on security camera. I started the process of buying a garage door with another company (Costco vendor) but after poor customer service/response, I changed my mind a got a quote from Smokey's. What a difference! I was extremely pleased by the responsiveness on every contact and question. Their quote was competitive and I ended up getting a higher quality product. The installation took a while, but the installer was very thorough, respectful and did a great job cleaning up afterwards. I would recommend them to all.

"[Service, Price, Timeliness, Technician] I received a call this morning at 9:40 that a neighbor had backed into my garage door. I called Smokey's at 10:30 to schedule an estimate. Before noon, I had a completed estimate, my neighbor paid Austin (the Tech) in full and I had an appointment for installation the following day between 7-10 AM. I will have a new garage door within approximately 24 hours from the damage! It simply doesn't get any better than this! I didn’t get great customer service with this company. I was scheduled with them through my home insurance company. They called to confirm my appointment but asked if I’d be available for an earlier time spot because of a cancellation. I was super happy and said sure. Got permission to take the morning off work because they were to arrive between 7 and 10 a.m. I called Smokey’s around 9:30 because I hadn’t received a call yet and was told I wasn’t even on the schedule today, and could I reschedule for tomorrow. Don't stop here Like any service you get, it basically depends on the employee they send. In this case they sent the wrong guy. Just pushy, condescending, telling you what you need to do before he even looks at it. Tells you your garage door opener is the "worst one on the market", and "installed terribly, that I don't want to even touch it so no one will think I did this". Hey, it may not be perfect but what's to be gained by telling me it's the worst? Price was not great, so I'd just suggest you try another.
