There are a lot of mediocre bbq places around but I find Smokey D’s to be the best in this area if I have to eat bbq. They’ve kept their skills to what they know and haven’t tried to branch out to every corner of the metro; basically if you want us, come get us. And they can fill the place easy. Brisket was tender, not over smoked (which I detest), and was not dried out. My co worker ordered three orders of baked beans, one garlic toast for each cup of baked beans...glad I don’t sit by him!
