Food was better than average but a bit overpriced. And it is not proper to serve the entrée just moments after having presented the salads. Our kids are new to the KC are...so I think we will be exploring other options.
Our server was fabulous! The staff was friendly and the place was nice. The portions were large but not impressive. We had enough food left for a second meal but I threw away my beef and pork ribs because they weren't very good. My boyfriend had the grilled shrimp and enjoyed it. It was our first time in KC and we really looked forward to getting great bbq. Better luck next time I suppose.
Nice setting but really wasnt impressed with the food it was okay lucky I didn't have to pay for it cause for one they are proud of there shit it's way to expensive it's obe thing to be expensive and be worth it but 17.95 for 4 ribs and sliced beef that looks like sliced roast beef with bar b que sauce on it that's ridiculous I know it has to be better bar b que in Kansas city
We're from Toronto. The Holiday Inn recommended you. Awesome food. I has pulled pork with cheesy corn and fries. Hubby had ribs with coleslaw. Very Smokey taste and very creamy coleslaw. We shared everything. Atmosphere was great. Enjoyed everything! Thanks!!
I didn't really enjoy our meal. We did a meal for two that came with three large sides and I wanted the optional sides which costed $4.95 which is the same price as the large regular size but they still charged me extra. Plus then the steam vegetables were not good and they are over steamed and the sweet potato fries weren't good the baked potato was okay there was a lot of almost to much sauce I don't know if I would go again.
Great food & service! Park lot has huge pot holes and is damaging to vehicles!
