The food was average for the amount of money we paid for it. I had the shrimp and it was chewy and overcooked. My husband had the burnt ends and there was only one little spot that was actually what we would consider a burnt end. Considering there was only two of us and we paid almost $60 it was a bit disappointing!

Went back last night after several years absence. First sign it may not be as good as we remembere: Friday night at the dinner hour and we had a big room largely to ourselves. Ordered drinks and the 2 meat appitizer burnt ends and polish sausage. The meats had no flavor to speak of and the burnt ends were so dry we could barely chew them. This was always my favorite place to come when I come home home to KC. It wasn't a $90 meal? The brisket and burnt ends were extremely fatty. I'm sad I don't get back to KC often and is hard to find good BBQ in Indianapolis.
Food was good, the shrimp to die for!! The service was even better!
RecommendedGreat food like always. Only critique I would have is that I’d prefer to put bbq sauce on my food, not have it come out swimming in sauce.
Very good burnt ends in a nice atmosphere. Good beans and excellent coleslaw.
I am from VA and came to visit my husband. We have always heard Kansas has amazing BBQ. You are not kidding you do. So enjoyed our meal and the server was so sweet and adorable.
