Coming from Texas, we know BBQ but smokehouse did not disappoint, it is true great BBQ comes from Texas or Kansas City, ok ok Memphis too.
It is way overpriced for what you get. We paid 31 dollars for a meal for two that was not that impressive. The sauce is little more than doctored up ketchup. Paid three dollars for a "large" side dish that was barely more than the small. I won't go back.
The food was delicious..... Came from Arizona and I love eating at this place. Prices were reasonable.

It's the worst barbecue in Kansas City, and it is also overpriced. I'm happy to pay good money for good barbecue but this is not good. I've gone three or four times trying and hoping with all my heart that it will be good but I just never is.
We are from Atlanta and wrapping up an epic summer road trip. We have always wanted to try "burnt ends" where they were made famous...Kansas City...they were delicious! Crossed off another food bucket list item :)
