I was disappointed in the wait staff. We ordered tall drinks. They came as normal drinks that seemed watered down. When our food was brought to us, we pointed out where it went, but he still set it down in front of the wrong people, even after we tried to correct it...he left it for us to rearrange. He forgot a side item, twice, and had to be reminded. I loved my burnt ends, beans, and the corn nuggets. The fried zucchini was bland. I hope this is just a small bump in the road, because Smokehouse is my go-to for bbq in KC.

My wife was given a gift card from her coworkers so we decided to give it a try. It was ok, seems like they were trying to emulate Jack Stacks.. pretty pricy for what you get. The BBQ sauce wasn't anything to write home to Mom about. Prob won't go back.

Good food and great service from our waitress. The surroundings seem a bit pretentious for a BBQ joint.

This used to be one of my all-time special places to go when I got to Kansas City to eat with friends. Not only was it not as good as it used to be but it was almost inedible and I left most of my food on my plate. The ribs were tough and pretty much meatless- I don't think they were baby back ribs like I had ordered. The burnt ends were so fatty I couldn't eat most of them.
