I have been going to this practice for 25 years and was a little concerned when I found out Dr. Lynn Godwin was retiring and selling the practice earlier this year. I wasn't sure if there would be a lot of changes in staff and service. No worries. Dr. Smith stepped in and service is still outstanding. They have retained the great , friendly and knowledgeable staff (Gloria , Kathy and the others are great). I have been there twice since the takeover an received the usual excellent service.
I've been coming to this practice for at least 15 years and I was always satisfied with Dr. Godwin (and Miller). Dr Smith seems to have picked a good practice to continue. I drive over 30 minutes to the practice and Kathy is one of the main reasons i do so. She is very competent and professional and I enjoy seeing her. Kathy (Dental Hygienist) should be in the Hygienist Hall of Fame. Always thoughtful, considerate, hard-working and let's not forget the most important thing: she does administer any pain! Thanks Kathy!
If you are looking for a hygienist that CARES, you need to see Kathy at Smith Family Dental. She has been taking care of me for the past 10 or so years and I wouldn't have my cleaning done by anyone else. She takes her job personally making sure that every detail is covered. She is gentle yet thorough which is right up my alley. Thank you, Kathy, for taking such great care of me in the past, present and future.
After having Dr Godwin as my dentist since 1995, when she retired I just panicked, Then Kathy, the best hygienist ever!!, told me that she was staying on with Dr Smith I calmed down. Dr Smith also has a calming effect on me since I have always been a terrible dentist visitor.The office staff is just the best ever. And for the record, Dr Smith has won my 90 year old mother over who has never been satisfied with nothing...she really likes him and looks forward to seeing Kathy.
We have been going here for many years. Kathy and Sue are the sweetest and best hygienist. We have been very happy with the service that Dr. Smith has provided! Very friendly environment!
