I stopped by unannounced on this beautiful day to take some pics for my Vet Tech college assignment. Hillary, a member of the super friendly staff, gave me a guided tour!! What an asset she is to this amazing fun-filled farm. I cannot thank her enough and am looking forward to wearing my Smiling Hill t-shirt. I wish I could rate the pumpkin wagon ride separately, (we didn't do the barnyard but that looked nice.) The staff is great, ice cream wonderful, the pick a pumpkin ride was disappointing. As a kid I remember (elsewhere) a hayride to a big corn field, then spending 15 minutes searching for the biggest pumpkin I could carry to take home and carve. This was just a patch of grass with tiny pie pumpkins. The ride in the woods was cute, but don't go for the pumpkin picking.

Our Dad was our master pumpkin grower who enjoyed tending the field and even became involved in the GIANT pumpkin growing movement as well. We regret that with his passing in May, we were unable to successfully transition this task to the next generation of pumpkin growers. Good milk, but disappointed they started charging my local store for delivery, and returning the bottles to Hannaford is a pain.
