I like smart recovery more than the AA meetings I went to.I'm thinking pretty hard about going to some face to face meetings in St Paul called dual recovery. I read 2 or 3 of those books and now I'm half way through the AA big book.
think it rocks.today I have 2 months clean.i did it with help from smart.finaly a open minded recovery program.that I can do thank you smart and thanks to all thre smarties peace jerry I am far from powerless====

That Daric J Startup didn't Recover of his addiction. Yes it was Mike of the Smart Recovery.
I've been a member since September 2013. I feel it's more centered on who we are as people rather than focused on the addiction. I like that we can find empowerment rather than being powerless! We actually care about others rather than just be selfish with our own problems! There is a real sense of family that those 12 Step groups never provide!
