Dr. White and the team at SASS in Wallingford is such an incredible asset for the animals of CT. We brought our rescue dog Chloe to be evaluated for a broken leg that had been left untreated in Texas. He carefully evaluated the X-ray, the dog's movements, and reactions. He concluded that the best choice for Chloe is to leave it alone; the bone break was in the middle of the femur, not affecting the joints. What a relief! Our girl needed TPLO surgery, our primary vet referred us to Dr David White and staff. I expected they must be good if there’s a 4-6 week wait for surgery. But in October she was so happy walking out of the office day after surgery as she was going in. (Our girl has severe anxiety) But this was handled so well, she had an excellent outcome at our 11 week X-rays, so well that she decided to rupture her other leg at 9 weeks Post Op…so here we go again.
