After a Year They charge me $8000 to Pay $ 200 in a moment where I have to save my name and work with a limited Budget , Their Heartless Actions were just to play with your good Faith in them .

I wish I would of read reviews before signing with Slate Legal Group. I was enrolled in this so called program for 11 months. I became disabled and went from making decent money down to a monthly check so I thought this company would be a my best bet to help with such a blow to my finances. Big mistake. They were sent over 6000 dollars and they so called settled 2 small accounts, at first I thought great but then I saw they pay such a minimal amount. I highly recommend not using this company. As someone that spent exorbitant sums to resolve debt, this company continued to debit my account, each month and then when convenient, "not have an attorney available". Instead, the company pushed back upon me, suggesting it is best for me to contact the owner of the debt to negotiate a settlement if I cannot "wait" until they have an attorney available. There program is no help. Better to claim bankruptcy . They tell you one low Payment and then they take all there fees in the first two years. So if you get served then they need more money every month. Don't waste your time they don't do there job until all there fees are paid . In that time your credit goes down the hill , constant calls , you get served . When you call for help nobody helps they tell you they can't give legal advice. They are called slate legal? Take your money to a lawyer you will be better served.

REVISED This company is misleading when the notary public comes to your home the contract at the did not have any amount on the lines where the fees are mentioned. As I was reviewing the contract the notary public explained about the retainer fee and the legal administration fee which at the time $89 a month. At no point did she mention anything about the service cost or the percentage of that. Fake credit resolve company, got me for over 11 months and settled 2 accounts that were under 1k each. Larger account they let go to county court and they say an attorney will be assigned to you, but that is a lie. They will keep pushing you off and tell you to file your own court documents. Customer service reps on the phone are super nice and understanding....BUT all you get is the run around.......I now regret this and have paid them 13k for NOTHING

All of the reviews below mirror my results. My credit score has dropped well over 200 points, they did NOT ever contact one of my creditors and they have turned over $6000 in payments into 1400 in a refund. I guess I'm one of the lucky ones that I got that much back... total scam....

WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!!! Run as far away as you can. These guys steal your money! They promise the world in the beginning and then do absolutely nothing once they've gotten your money. I'm 8 months into my program and they have made my financial situation worse than it was to start! I cancelled with them today because their attorney flat out told me that they can't settle any of the debts and that I have to pay more money! Please never use this company!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! This is the worst company EVER! First of all they told me that they can get ALL my debt taken care of even my 2nd mortgage!! WRONG! I started paying them in June 2020(auto deduct) and then found out that my 2nd mortgage wasn't able to be in the program. This company continued to take my money twice a month and NEVER even spoke to any of my creditors!! I have accumulated late fees and whatever other fees can occur on ALL my credit cards!
