I got the shrimp & fish basket. I took my cup of clam chowder and layered the food like it was gravy. The customers around me stared and snickered, but I had my headphones on listening to NPR so who cares? Better to be woke than judgmental. The food was fantastic and left me very full; I didn't eat for 36 hours following the meal! Plus pepsi products on fountain! I drank nearly 2 liters in 'dew and never felt so alive! I'm going to take my cousin here when he gets back from New Zealand.
They're not bad usually however today is the first time the chowder made me and the gf sick.

My niece & I visited this restrauant for the first time last month. She had her service dog with her. The first thing the owner said to us was "do you have papers for that dog?" Then said, "never mind, I guess you can set in the back room so you don't disturb the others patrons." Needless to say, we left. For your information sir, it is illegal for you to ask to see the papers of a service dog or ask what service he does for the owner. I've been eating fish and chips at Skippers for many many years with my family, so this place has alot of sentimental value. I love the all you can eat fish and shrimp with the chowder. My tradition since I was a kid is to dip my chips into the chowder. It's the best!!
Delicious as always. Love my trips to Boise when they include a meal at Skippers.
