Puppy mills are absolutely disgusting. The poor animals kept there long term for the breeding never get to live a normal life. They live in small cages in their own filth. And if they ever do make it out they are never mentally right from all the mental trauma endured. I know this first hand from having a rescue from a mill getting shut down for animal abuse/neglect. No pure breed is worth other animals suffering. But from honest breeders.

Skansen Kennel really came through for us when my teenage daughter needed a mobility assistance dog. We adopted giant 7 year-old Humphrey in March and he was certified by a device dog training organization in June! Everywhere we go people are astounded by his size, gorgeous lines, and amazing temperament.
