I love Skansens and have had dogs from Skansens since 1980. Every one a love. My mom and brother have also had great dogs from Skansens. Sylvia is the best!
BUYER BEWARE!! Skansen is nothing but a puppy mill! With major history of epiplisy and health issues. I had to put down my giant schnauzer at 2 years old because of epilepsy. The only way to stop epilepsy in a breed is stop breeding that blood line when epilepsy is detected. The old hag that runs Skansen REFUSES TO DO THIS, putting HUNDREDS of poor dogs at health risk. Purchased a puppy from Skansen. 6 months old my pup began having cluster seizures. Spent over 8,000 trying to help my dog, nothing worked. Had to be put down at 1 1/2 years. This breeder is disgusting and if you Google her, you will find many other sick dogs connected to her. She is aware of my dogs issues and blames me not feeding my dog raw meat. DO NOT support this unethical breeder, even if she was on Animal Planet.

We have had our Giant for 4 years now and he is the most amazing dog! We are so very grateful for all that Silvia and staff does to breed the best dogs.
I love my Skansen Giant, Rocky Balboa, it was very hard work in the beginning, being he is my very first dog ever but the look and love he gives me makes it worth all the work I put in. No regrets whatsoever and the advise and follow up calls I get back from Sylvia and her staff is great, always available when I have questions. I hope to go back and visit the ranch with my Rocky
