I am on my third from this kennel and he is an absolute love. He, of course, owns the home but he does let me live here. He is beyond smart and you can ask him something and he totally understands. Loves car rides and running around the acre. He is going to be seven, but one would think he was two or three. He is also in the 2017 calendar as half of April dressed as Darth Taylor.
We love Skansen!!!! The provide the best pups around.
I purchased my first Giant Schnauzer, from Sylvia in 1985. Max lived to be 14. Wonderful dog. Looking forward to our next Skansen Giant Schnauzer soon!
Sylvia and all her wonderful employees at Skansen Kennels are an absolute delight. All of the dogs have amazingly large yards and spaces and they're fed better than most people eat! My husband and I adopted a 4 month old giant schnauzer from Skansen and we couldn't be happier! I greatly appreciate and respect all the love that they have for each and every dog there. We adopted a 4 year old retired breeding Giant Schnauzer from Sylvia 2 years ago. The initial transition was tough because she wasn't used to living in a house and had to learn about stairs, sliding glass doors and mirrors. But after about 3 months, with help from our lab and mini-schnauzer and tips from Sylvia, she's a happy indoor family dog. She has a calm, loving demeanor and is a great protector.
