In a word...magical! Absolutely special at every turn. From the smiling valet driver to the charming entrance, to the fabulous food, to the friendly and knowledgeable waiters, to the frothy cappuccino, to the fur lined chairs and cozy couches, to the décor, to the ambiance...everything was perfect! Be sure to check out the Inn ...you will never want to go home! Special touches like no other! Congrats Andy and his family for creating such a unique and awe-inspiring tavern and Inn for all to enjoy!
Lovely renovation and very good food. Small menu - interesting choices. Starters of Clam Toast (very generous) - with a salad would make a satisfying meal. Beet abd ricotta salad good. Roast chicken (offered half and whole) was excellent - half was more than sufficient. The entrée came with a side salad and roasted potatoes - didn't need the broccoli, but I'm a sucker for upselling! The burger was under done for medium rare and very rich but good. Food good, really good, service, terrible chaotic, inept. Ruined the experience. Everyone was well intentioned; however, it was like it was the staffs first time ever working at a restaurant. Too many screw ups to document here. In addition, it’s loud, very loud. This is not a have a conversation with your significant other place.
