Poor customer service both in seating you as well as in serving you...and ownership does not seem to care about customers as well
Although the place is nostalgic, the menu and food was not anything to write home about. Overpriced for sure.
Exquisite Nostalgic charm of the original silvermine tavern shines thru the sleek and modern open spaced tavern. Hand crafted cocktails and gourmet tastings offered bar to table with riverside dining.
The ambiance is emersively relaxing with a keen eye for design detail. The food was out of this world delicious. My son ordered the bacon cheeseburger, which I thought was going to be typical. I took a bite and all the synapsis in my brain fired. And that was their budget! The service is attentive and genuine. Will I come back? Hell, yeah! By the way, we were here at night. I understand during the day, the view is spectacular.
Tucked away in the Silvermine area of Norwalk, this inn and restaurant sits amongst the residential community which would make you drive right past it unless you didn’t no otherwise. Atmosphere is fantastic and the food is top notch!

The brunch experience at GrayBarns, is beyond phenomenal. I would give them a 6 out of 5 stars. From the warm welcome, to the detailed and kind service, to the organic and healthy food, wrapped up with a bow in the form of fresh and unique cocktails. I wholeheartedly recommend it. Intimate, yet upscale modern setting, a blend of old and new age interior design. Make it a must to visit if you are in the Norwalk, CT area.
