I sat waiting bleeding from my face from a dog bite for over an hour before someone advised me I should go to a real hospital. So I did. I've just received a bill for $200. For what? Allowing me to bleed in the waiting room?
I took my grown uninsured son there with a very bad cut on this finger last year. They were amazing. The cleanest urgent care/er center I've ever been in. And I've taken my boys into one many many times over the years. Cable tv in the waiting room. Air conditioned. The receptionist brought us big glasses of water w ice. They treated the wound and gave him stitches. We were there for about 3 hours. Shortest er visit ever. The initial visit, checkup and final stich removal visit cost under $200. And they billed him.
