Silver cross hospital had really thought Of everything. I recently had an endoscope surgery there. The staff was amazing and all went as planned. They utilize Volunteers to help keep things going and these Volunteers are AMAZING! My 2 year old daughter was tired and struggled when I had to go back and she couldn’t be with me, she was crying and a Volunteer saw her. To help her (and my husband and mother) they gave her a care package that included a bear, coloring stuff, a book, a balloon, and so much more. It was a life save... read more

This hospital is such a shit show. I sat in the Er waiting room for 3 hours before they finally got me into the back, even though 9 people came in after me and got admitted and discharged. I get that other people have more pressing matters, but these people aren’t shaking like me or balling their eyes out like me. Then I’m finally admitted, and a type one diabetic. they never checked my sugar until about 11 at night. Then it’s 1 a.m. and they never gave me insulin for a correction, or my slow acting insulin so I can sleep. L... read more
