I had the best experience ever in their ER. My son broke his ankle (a trimallelolar fracture). That equates to all 3 hinges of the ankle. for us non medical people. From the time we pulled up at the door of the hospital until we left and hour and a half later, we were made to feel at ease by the efficient staff. I can not THANK YOU enough for the great way you took care of my son. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Colleen Baber
Kids are not allowed in this dump! Wifes in for surgery and they meet us at the door to inform us that no children under 18. Funny.....we were in here four days ago and there was several children in the waiting room.
These people made me and my family wait outside in the cold while my mom had surgery they said kids under 18 aren't aloud let alone it took them 9 hours for surgery!
My mom was admitted several times to this hospital over the last year. Sadly the last time she was admitted she passed away. I would just like to say the icu had the most caring staff members out of any hospital I have ever been. They were very attentive to my mom and where there for her every need. Took the time to talk to her , make her as comfortable as possible, and where even there for me.
Poor kid has to lay in the floor over 4 hrs. No employees would give him a blanket or pillow and he is in great agony pain. I asked for a pillow and was told they have no pillows. This place cares less of thier patients. Worry more about thier breaks and gossiping around the water cooler and eating donuts. TOP KNOTCH PLACE! Wow
I like Herrin Hospital!
I believe the priorities are messed up. To let somebody in the waiting room sit in pain To the point of crying. And being in pain for several hours mind you To wait in a waiting room While other people go ahead of you..as your pulse drops.
Sucks
When my momma was in there they done an exceptional job. Especially one nurse who was so AWESOME Kora Webber. She was so good with momma made here last two weeks easier . Thanks to all who helped with her Ms. Vollie Joan Melvin in ICU and Rm 123.
