Yes for view and no for the food, also the service although friendly not very attentive.
Pricey - appetizer $15.95 for a plate of 2 crab cakes, $6 for 16oz draft beer. The band was fun, but very cramped space inside, truly only suited for summer/outdoor fun, frankly.

Took forever to place an order, the food took 40 minutes to arrive. When it did it was cold and not edible. Avoid this place like the plague.
Don't eat there, horrible food & the owner destroyed many cats shelters. I highly recommend to not go there...
This guy has a goldmine here. Beautiful view of the Niagara River. He has done practically nothing to improve the place since he bought it years ago. Does the bare minimum to keep it alive. The boat slip owners fix their own slips up and he reaps the benefits.
I have never been to this establishment, and the reviews would be enough to keep me away...but I just heard that after all the work on Tonawanda Island doing TNR and providing shelters for the resident cats, the owner of the Marina and The Shores Restaurant has bulldozed all the shelters,feeding and watering stations. He didn't give the group involved any opportunity to relocate anything. It was an incredibly mean thing to do. EXCELENT, ATMOSPHERE, FOOD , SERVICE AND SURROUNDINGS. I TOOK MY DISABLED BROTHER OUT FOR HIS 62ND BIRTHDAY AND WE WERE SO IMPRESED WITH THE WHOLE PACKAGE . THIS AFTER WALKING OUT OF THE AQUAS RESTURANT FOR POOR SERVICE AND TREATMENT. COULD NOT HAVE HAD A BETER TIME AND THE FOOD WAS SUPERB, CRAB CAKES FOR ME AND BONE IN RIB EYE FOR MY BROTHER. My kids took me there for Father's Day. Was seated promptly. Very nice atmosphere. I ordered the chicken Parm. The chicken was very dry. That was Sunday, Tuesday morning I woke up very sick. Went to the doctors Thursday because I wasn't getting any better. Was diagnosed with Salmonella. Ten days later I'm still sick but thankfully on the road to recovery. Needless to say I'll never go back.
