Don't eat there, horrible food & the owner destroyed many cats shelters. I highly recommend to not go there...

This guy has a goldmine here. Beautiful view of the Niagara River. He has done practically nothing to improve the place since he bought it years ago. Does the bare minimum to keep it alive. The boat slip owners fix their own slips up and he reaps the benefits.

I have never been to this establishment, and the reviews would be enough to keep me away...but I just heard that after all the work on Tonawanda Island doing TNR and providing shelters for the resident cats, the owner of the Marina and The Shores Restaurant has bulldozed all the shelters,feeding and watering stations. He didn't give the group involved any opportunity to relocate anything. It was an incredibly mean thing to do. My kids took me there for Father's Day. Was seated promptly. Very nice atmosphere. I ordered the chicken Parm. The chicken was very dry. That was Sunday, Tuesday morning I woke up very sick. Went to the doctors Thursday because I wasn't getting any better. Was diagnosed with Salmonella. Ten days later I'm still sick but thankfully on the road to recovery. Needless to say I'll never go back.

Terrible...Terrible Customer Service! A party of 2 used a groupon which they added 18% gratuity along with a $6.75 Service Charge. This was after waiting 45 minutes for a server to come to our table (we had to approach a waiter for service). The waitress was completely rude and when we approached the Manager, she started screaming at us. REAL CLASSY, I mean trashy PLACE !

It is about Time! The Shores is Looking Great – Was just there tonight, had a great time. The restaurant has so much potential and there is now a lot of new improvements being done to capture the location that is on an Island in Western New York! Had the Fish Fry and my wife had the Potato Encrusted Cod, on the patio in early May. I like that the staff especially the kitchen is back again, it make the place more consistent. Keep up the good work.

Get 'em in, get 'em out!!! – The Shore's main goal is turning the tables over to get as many people in and out as possible!! The hell with good food and service! Our group was seated at a nice table on the patio, with a view of the water, so far so good. The waiter was obviously disappointed our last guest was 10 minutes late (first red flag). Shores Waterfront Restaurant – My wife wanted to go to a restaurant that overlooked the water for her birthday. I purchased a gift certificate from WYRK seize the deal program for The Shores. I read the previous reviews, food is too pricey, place needs painted and request Sara as waitress so I thought I would update you all after my visit. AWESOME Owners and Destination – First time there and service was great. Ask for Sara, she WILL take care of you.. Nothing bad to say at all, BEAUTIFUL atmosphere, music, and setting.. Would recommend to anyone. You MUST try the sweet potato wedges with honey butter.. AWESOME!!!!!! You won't regret stopping in..
