No communication between staff or with patients and their families. Scheduling conflicts and delays abound because they're terribly understaffed. And probably the rudest administrators I've ever encountered; especially, in the cardiology unit.

Brought in with concussion and ambulance belted down on a stretcher in a neck brace. Emergency didn't even notify next of kin, nor make an attempt to. Phone was in patients pocket without being locked. Gave them an opportunity to resolve the matter which they failed. Patient advocate department didn't help, told me someone from emergency would call me back, and never did within the time frame they specified. Has been way over that. Poor staff no help at all. Step father came in with very swollen intestinal track and they are doing nothing till Friday he could die from this! Got admitted Monday night! Might be going up to Sarasota hospital if we get no where like we are now. Horrible hospital.

BEWARE!!! If you have a heart and you care for your love ones, do not let them go to this Hospital..my momma has had the worst care ever!!!! Sue the day nurse in South wing on the second floor is not recommended at all!! BEWARE!!!!

My husband had bicep tendon repair by Dr Cuff (who is amazing). All the staff from registration to ACU to surgery to recovery were awesome. They kept us informed and had a warm and caring attitude. No complaints!!
