My cat hates going in the car, to the vet, to anywhere -- but, Dr. Amanda Snelgrove and her team Shirlington Animal Hospital treat her well and give her excellent care!
Friendly staff. Tell you what you really need and what is just a nice to have vs selling you into unneeded things. Recommended!
Dr. Hergen has been taking care of my pets for over 10 years. When she started her own practice, I followed her. I have lost several of my pets over the years, and Dr. Hergen supported me every step of the way, most recently over Thanksgiving when I unexpectedly had to put one of my kitties to sleep. She wrote a beautiful letter afterwards which was so helpful. She and her staff are wonderful.
Personal, attentive staff. Doctors treat your pet with caring and kindness.
I am currently dealing with a difficult situation with my aging dog Draco. The staff here is respectful and always accommodating. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a new veterinarian.
Excellent service and care
Amazing group of people. Really great with animals and nervous owners too. I've seen two doctors here for my dog and both were fantastic. The rest of the staff is top notch. You can really tell they care. We're lucky to have them in our community.
Visiting Shirlington Animal Hospital doesn't feel like visiting the vet - it feels like visiting friends & family! My Guinness girl loves seeing (and kissing) everyone there - even when she had a severe skin infection and hurt to the touch, she kissed everyone she could reach with her tongue while being shaved & examined.
