We stayed in one of the log cabins and just loved it. It was very clean and decorated very nicely. I stayed there several years ago also and it is still just as nice.
Smallish campground with very little privacy between sites. Seems a bit understaffed also. The person working the office had to lock up and leave to go work in another location on the campground. Old restrooms in the main office buildings but very clean. Its a decent port in a storm but not really our style.
We loved this campground. The cabins looked nice and are tucked on the woods but didn't stay in a cabin. We stayed in our 5th wheel. It was quiet, peaceful and close to town. The only improvement I would suggest is that the office help familiarize them self with Shipshewana, the restaurants, history and suggestions for what to see while on the area.
My husband and I had a great time. The cabin was perfect for us. We will definitely be going back!
