This was my family's dentist until he extracted my son's tooth, even though because of the type of infection, he should have given my 7 year old son antibiotics. Well, he extracted the tooth instead and the anesthesia did not numb my son at all but still extracted the tooth. When I saw the type of agony my son was under, I wanted to take him but the doctor said, "I'm almost done and he continued and extracted the tooth. Dr. Shina is excellent and I have loads of dental anxiety! I just had three fillings redone and I am currently recommending him to my work colleagues. The hygenists are kind and gentle. Dr. Shina is excellent when explaining procedures and he is very attentive to patients' comfort level. The office manager is caring and thoughful! The office is immaculate and modern. I will not hesitate to recommend Dr. Shina to others!

I saw Dr. Shina for a new patient exam and cleaning. He was very pleasant with a nice chair side manner. The tooth cleaning was painless and his staff were all very nice! I also found scheduling to be very easy. The receptionist Joan was great about helping me with my insurance! I would recommend Dr. Shina.
