Shimogamo is our favorite sushi ever! We've been to all the better known sushi restaurants and there is nothing better than here. Fish is fresh, and amazing, service is excellent and ambiance is perfect for our date nights or family night! You must try it!!
We love this place!!! The beef carpaccio is the bomb!! The lobster salad is a close second. I always order the oysters if they're on the menu. Always a winner. The sushi is delicious. The staff are very nice. Make reservations to reserve your spot...it's a must!!
I eat here a couple times a week - by far the best sushi I've ever had!! Amazing quality with a great atmosphere and experienced staff.
Terrible. The head chef fired anyone with talent because he has a superiority complex and he coudn't handle how much better they were than him. Used to be good. Sucks now!
My first time here and the service was excellent. AL prepared our sushi and made suggestions for us to try. It was all great! The ambiance was relaxing. Very enjoyable Friday evening.
Probably the best sushi restaurant I've been to since coming to Arizona. The fish was fresh, the portions perfect, and preparation superb. The staff at the sushi counter hands down one of the best I've had the honor of being served by. I would highly recommend this place to anyone in the valley.
Best sushi in the state.... Not only is the food amazing but the staff is even better. I would recommend this place to anyone the owner even hand delivered our drinks. Total stand up place, the yellow tail is a must as well.
