Had dinner there after a play at the Strand. There was a surge of people after the play and I expected service would be slow. Much to our surprise the service was great and our server pointed out a new item on the menu, parmesan crusted pork chop. I order that and was pleasantly surprised. It had been butterflied and pounded to about 1/4", pan seared and finished in the oven. It was tender full flavored and I would order it again. We had dinner with friends on New Years Eve. We had great service and food was delicious! French onion soup, shrimp cocktail, salmon and lamb lollipops were all prepared perfectly! Great atmosphere too!

Went to lunch with my mom and sister and the food was excellent and service was good and very friendly!
Had brunch with my mom and sister yesterday. Always love the atmosphere and service is usually good. But yesterday the food and drinks lacked a lot. Possibly the worst Bloody Mary I've ever had (ordered spicy and had almost no flavor at all) and the egg on my Crab Benedict was almost hard boiled, no runny yolk. The crab and cheese grits were good though and the waiter was attentive.
This was my first visit. I had the Maryland Crab Cakes and a cup of New England Clam Chowder. Yummy. The service was great. Nice atmosphere. Reminded us of a restaurant we went to this summer in Paris. The food was a little pricey, but was worth it.
