Shame on her!! I trusted these people to care for my baby when she was very sick after several expensive visits with Dr mcCray. Dr McCray only gave me only one choice for thousands of dollars and was neither compassionate or caring about my concern for my pet or my questions. At least she could have dressed up for the part by wearing something clean and not having wet hair like she rushed out of the shower to take my money. I left and found a wonderfol vet around the corner.

Dr. Clipsham My cat has been with Dr. Clipsham for the past 6 years. He's amazing and the most thorough vet I have ever worked with. He treated my then-14-year old kitty for cancer last year. We caught it early enough and she is a strong 15 1/2 year old now. He recommends lots of preventative and natural medicine and he never rushes you out the door. My questions have always been answered when I leave. He gets 5 stars.

We love Sherman Oaks Vet Group I love Sherman Oaks Vet! Everyone there loves my cat Brian and are always excited to see him. SOVG has been my one stop shop for years. They have food, shampoos, treats, and collars. They always have cats up for adoption, my daughter loves going to the vet with us just to see the kittens. The girls at the front are great with us and always try to get us in and out as quick as possible, even when the place is packed. Dr. Scanlan has helped us tremendously with Brian. When we couldn't figure out ... read more

Dr. Clipshan is GREAT. Kind, caring and loves animals l! WOW! My Yo-Yo is in kitty heaven now (sniff-sniff) but Dr. Clipshan made it as painless as he could for ME and my baby. If you are looking for a kind, caring and loves Vet who actually loves animals - Dr. Clipshan is the VET for you.

They will over charge you as much as they can I ended up paying $820 for an antibiotic treatment but the first estimate I refused was between $1500 and $2000!My dog was sick and so weak he could barely walk so I took him to the Vet. After waiting for a while, they came back to me with X-Ray results and no clear diagnostic (pending blood test results). They offered an hospitalization for at least $1500 which I declined as I had no clear diagnosis yet and we couldn't spend that much money now. They released the dog for $820, I... read more

GREEDY AND UNETHICAL Do NOT take your pet to Sherman Oaks Vet Group. I have been a customer for years, but unfortunately, I have watched their service and pet care decline over the last couple of years. Individual and personalized pet care used to be their first priority. Now,....it's pocketing your money. I am completely prepared to spend as much money as necessary for the care of my pet. (And they are one of the most expensive, if not the most expensive vets in the area.) I just spent $3000.00 on tests and care. I was full... read more

Susie Q If you look at the blogs on this place you will see many reviews, most of them bad, which is why they get an average of two stars out of 5, last time I checked. What you read is true; they do all kinds of unnecessary tests and procedures so they can ratchet up the price, and they don't really care if they drain your wallet and put your animal through all kinds of nonsense in the process. I told them I wanted my dog checked for a tenant tear and they did a pile or x rays and then told me the x rays would not detect a ... read more

Great Valley Vets The cool western ranch style of the Sherman Oaks Veterinary Group building is enough to make you and your dog want to check it out. But aside from getting to walk through rustic swinging doors, you'll have a great experience. The vets here have all been amazing. They are true animal lovers - not just punching the clock. The front desk has always been really helpful and courteous. If you're looking for a vet, you can't go wrong here.

Vets are great, front desk is bad The vets here have been great. HOWEVER, some of the women at the front desk are incredible rude and condescending. Bonnie at the front desk is the WORST. Do anything you can to avoid dealing with her. She is rude, and will talk down to you if you ask any sort of question. I have considered changing vets simply based on Bonnie's behavior.
