He is punctual, the inspection went smoothly.
Seemed great during inspection - professional, friendly, pointed out things we had not noticed, gave us info to go back & renegotiate the contract saving us $ on the purchase. All good things & I was very happy. Now, we are moving into the property, & we are finding other things neither of us noticed during the inspection, such as a burnt outlet, faulty outdoor wiring, exposed wires in my son's closet. professional, knowledgeable and thorough
This was a pre-sale home inspection for a 2-family, 3-storey house. Stephen came to the house in advance, and started the inspection. He was thorough and effcient. He answered all of our questions, and gave advise beyond what's required. He didn't appear rushing, but we were done in 2 hours. One thing that could have been better - he identified evidence of moisture in the basement, put it on the report, but didn't talk to us about it (maybe because this is common). Steven Sherman is a very knowledgable and polite inspector. He went above and beyond the inspection in also giving good knowlegable advice on most of the problems at hand. We would defetatley use his services again and refer him to friends and family. Thanks Steven for a job well done.
Steve was on time and explained things clearly. During the inspection, he went through the house, but forgot the two sheds outside and something unknown needed to figured out later. My husband and I also forgot them. The other suggestion is that a printed inspection report is better.
Mr. Sherman was very thorough & took the time to explain the home inspection process, as well as the origin of problems found.
