SYR has helped me in so many ways and I cannot express how grateful I am to have been a part of the trail to success program. They helped me find hope, my voice and I found Joy again. And the way the horses know what a person is feeling and comforts them in unique ways is truly amazing. I cannot say enough great things about Shepherd Youth Ranch! Our daughter was struggling almost daily with anxiety that would consume her. I was to the point of desperation when we got the call from SYR. She started at the ranch in August of last year and graduated in January. Shepherd Youth Ranch provided an amazing 18+ week experience for my 10/11 year old daughter. She learned leadership, coping skills, and so much more in a group therapy session each week. The way they incorporated the horses was so impactful and honestly shaped her person for the better. They provided me as a parent with so much to take moving forward.
My son attended Shepherd Youth Ranch because he was having issues with his anger and other reasons and now he is in their other program called the Trailbosses. This program is truly a blessing for any child, because they will help work on all the needs of your child through the horse therapy. And not only do they help our children, they also have family sessions once a month and that actually helped me out as a mother to understand my child more and to see what things i can possibly do different. Shepherd Youth Ranch, where do I even begin! This program was God sent, not only to my oldest daughter but to our entire family. My daughter blossomed so much while attending their 18 week program. She learned her voice, gained confidence & so much more. Mrs. Debbie & Mrs. Reagan are absolutely amazing & I could never thank them or the horses at this ranch enough for help & guidance. We will forever be grateful for you all
