My wife came into Camden Clark emergency room for abdominal pain and was admitted because she had a blockage, possibly a mass. She was there for three days and this doctor would not listen to anyone else that was telling her what my wife needed done and she was in no hurry to do anything herself. My wife finally signed out AMA because she got tired of her lack of concern.

Dr. Grimm did an excellent job on my hernia surgery. There were no complications. She took her time during appointments and answered all of my questions. I did not feel rushed (which I have at other doctors recently). I would not hesitate to place my trust in her again.

NO is all I can say. Staff was great, Dr. However, did a surgery of which I ended up having an infection after, had to go to wound care for several months and then ended up having to have plastic surgery to repair what she did!

I went online and read these reviews. Scare the ba Jesus out of me. I hesitated on doing the surgery the next day. Than I noticed dates of reviews. So I took a leap of faith and did the surgery. It went excellently plus no side effects. I can see some of you had negative experiences with her. I'm sorry fir the outcome on some of the surgeries. If I could give no stars, I would. My 16 year old son had appendicitis and she did the surgery. There was contamination during surgery which led to infection before he ever left the hospital. He wound up having to have 2 more surgeries and I had to pack his stomach for over a month. She was a horrible surgeon and her bedside manner was just as bad. Zero compassion. Zero accountability. The entire experience was excellent. I highly recommend and appreciate the work and character of Shawna Grimm, DO. I met with her as a result of 5 abdominal hernias I was experiencing. The problem was I had 4 previous abdominal surgeries and opening my abdomen simply was not an option. Dr. Grimm agreed to laparoscopically examine the hernias to determine if she could robotically repair them. She scheduled the O.R. suite for 3.5 hours. If I could give this woman a zero, I would. I have never been to a more childish, arrogant, unprofessional doctor in my life. I wouldn’t recommend her to anyone ever, ever.

Awful! Terrible bedside manner, no compassion, not likely to explain anything. If you need any gastrointestinal surgery, find someone who is certified in it. She is not.

Wait time was only 15 minutes, Dr Grimm was extremely considerate during the exam and was also very informative of the condition and what is needed to be done to correct the problem. She was also able to work me in for the surgery 2 days later. Overall She was very kind, considerate and compassionate. Her office staff was outstanding and helpful as well..
