Recently purchased Shaw hardwood to replace old Bruce hardwood floors in my home. Although a very beautiful product, it is MUCH LESS durable than the old Bruce product. Given the high $$ of the Shaw, the lack of durability is very disappointing. It chips, scratches & mars much, much easier versus the old Bruce hardwood product. Although all hardwoods can be damaged if you are not careful, the relative ease in which the Shaw can be damaged should be taken into consideration.
