On Monday February 24th 2020 I went to Sharp Urgent Care because I was coughing up blood. Within 30 minutes they had determined via xray that I had a bad case of pneumonia. They called an ambulance to transport me to Sharp Memorial. Once in the ER I was seen within the first two minutes. Additional testing was done, I was admitted, and ended up with a bed within a few hours. The first doctor I saw was Dr. Chalasani. I had a good experience in the ER. Very efficient. One thing I wanted to mention was the pharmacist I talked to after I was discharged. I was afraid to take the Zofran I was prescribed because it had given me headache in the past. I ended up taking it and was fine buy the side of the bottle says may cause headache and the pharmacist said headaches were not a known side effect. She was super nice but I thought it should be mentioned.
Thank you to the amazing team who took care of my 9 month old last week, after a series of events led to Rady’s being one lockdown. Our nurse, Matt, was amazing with my little guy and the nursing staff called to check on him today. They definitely made a rough night, while on vacation, a little less miserable.
The trauma unit is amazing and the 4th floor staff took such great care of my son Forrest. Thank you, thank you!!
Inept!!!!!!!! I’ve lost 80 lbs in 4 months and they are talking about sending me home without finding the cause
the entire staff of doctors, nurses, EVERYONE is incredible . If given the opportunity we ask to be taken to Sharp Memorial due to all of our positive experiences . They go above and beyond
