I liked shapes before the new management but love it more now. The new management has made a real effort in improving the club and it shows. The staff is great and always helpful, always smiling. They make you feel like you want to be there. I would love to be a size 6 ; have come a long way, but have more to go. Shapes will get me there.
Very bad experience with sneaky billing practices. Was a member for many years. When I went to quit they told me I had to give two months notice and pay both months. When I inquired why they told me that my membership had ended and I was placed on month to month and that this was part of the month to month agreement, which I had never signed nor was I told that I was switched. Deceptive practice.
I like Shapes... It is locally owned, has a nice variety of equipment and classes and has a pool. There are plenty of lockers and change rooms for your convenience! I have had no problems with any of the staff and find them polite and helpful when I need something...
I love this gym and the staff! The instructors are superb! I'm from Chicago where I was a member at Lifetime Fitness and I can honestly say the classes at this facility surpass Lifetime Fitness on so many levels.

What I look for in a great gym is right here cardio,strength training ,personal training,great orientation of equipment. Very clean and offers disinfecting wipes for equipment etc. Since I work in a OSHA medical environment I find a clean and well taken care of gym my most important part of a good gym. Love the variety of classes like bodypump ,barre,yoga,pilates and especially kettle bell!! Our grandma loves the aqua classes too! Everyone is so nice. I just started and am looking forward to getting back in shape and out of pain. Love the water Zumba . It's great to work out without sweating!
I love my new membership to Shapes!! I have never been to a gym before so I didn't know what to expect. It doesn't feel like a gym!! I am enjoying my Zumba Classes!! I am fairly new to Zumba so I am having a blast!! Like a fiesta party every evening or morning!! Been going for a month and my inches are falling off!! Couldn't be happier!!
Best gym ever!!! Most professional fun and awesome owner Gail!!! I loved working for Shapes at the Coopercreek location may it rest in peace!
