My mother was admitted to your hospital on Monday with covid. When i called for an update was told I needed a code. The code was given to my mom who was disoriented and not answering her phone. When i was finally able to get access to the code I was told they only give updates between 2-5 because that floor is so busy. I can't go visit my mom have no clue how her night was and now your policy for 6 North is to only give updates between 2-5 is ridiculous!!!! It takes less than 3 minutes to provide an update. The nursing staff was by and large great. The problem we had was the fact that my husband was in the hospital more than 2 weeks and was only able to take 2 showers. The water in the shower was icy cold even after letting it run more than 15 minutes. Shannon could afford to buy out everything in town but can't afford decent hot water heaters? What's up with that!!??

i just want to say thank you for doing what you do. i know some are scared i know the feeling of those long painful, stressful hours. i know your fed up with all that PPE in order to protect your selves, while trying to save our lives. i cannot provide you snacks, drinks, chap stick . only kind thoughts from the heart. your job is one of security, although times like these, some are tested more than others. my hat is off to you with the utmost respect. may god continue to bless you and yours.

Shannon Medical is awful and it should be illegal for them to have a monopoly on health care in San Angelo. I went to my Dr (formally with CMA) and they tried to force a Covid test because of new requirements due to Shannon having a new Covid drug they're testing. They tried to refuse me the care I needed in order to further their agenda.
Thank you thank you to the 6th floor all the staff from the doctor to the nice lady that empty my trash. The nursing staff encouraged me every day to keep fighting and after nine days I was able to come home. My continued prayers to this staff that they stay healthy and free of Covid in order to keep helping others. God bless you all. Mike Rodriquez

This place is amazing! And I don’t toss the word ‘amazing’ around willy nilly...😉 it takes a lot to impress me and I’m impressed! Every single person that we’ve come in contact with, EVERYONE, has been friendly and seemed genuinely concerned about my husband’s situation ... the fact that employees are happy while doing their jobs says a lot about them, as well as their employer ... good job Shannon and Shannon employees! 🏼👍🏼♥️
Staff is rude and very unprofessional still have not received updates about a family member who is in the ER and we have tried calling and we were hung up on twice.
my husband was air lifted to Shannon having a heart attack. Shannon got him stabilized and 6 hours later sent him home. No cath lab to see what the problem was. He is home so weak he can't get out of bed. if he dies its on there shoulder. cant believe they did this.
