Good at explaining the issues. staff is very helpful too. I am still recovering from surgery but confident in Dr Leavitt's abilities
Dr Leavitt has done surgery more than once on both my husband and myself. We are thankful for his great surgery skills, but also for his compassionate heart. He ane his assistant, Peter Frey PA-C, are a great team. They are both good listeners.

After a previous and ultimate failed left shoulder surgery, I trusted Dr. Leavitt's attempt to "fix" my left shoulder. I am so glad that I took the chance. Though the recovery was tedious and physical therapy long, the end result is terrific. I also was very pleased with the way that both Dr. Leavitt ad his pa listened to my concerns and answered questions. An overall very positive experience!
Dr Levitt performed surgery on my knee after it was broken in a car accident. I am very please with the quality of care that I received from Dr Levitt and his staff. While the healing process seemed long and was often painful, I always believed that my care was the best available. It has been 6 months since the accident and I am now walking with only a slight limp, I am nearly pain free and I continue to feel better each day.
Reassembled my badly fractured ankle and installed an impressive amount of hardware. Really seems to know his stuff. Not overly communicative, but a first rate surgeon which is what matters. I expect a full recovery which is progressing nicely. Very satisfied.
Failed to listen to what I had to say. Failed to listen to advice from another physician. The second opinion I obtained saved my life. Thank God I didn't listen to Leavitt.
