This comment is solely based on the girls at the billing counter, as you checkout. I had work done by dentist in April. Apparently my insurance had not gone into effect yet, although I did have documentation that it had and an Id number for card. I decided to pay full amount, upon checking out. I later received an EOB from insurance company. They paid the majority of the bill, so I was owed a refund. In July, I went to get my teeth cleaned.. Always enjoy coming to Dr. Costa's practice. Nice and modern facility and well-trained staff that works well together and is always upbeat. Use of technology for reminders and alerting to appointment openings is great. Only negative was that my original appointment was cancelled -- lack of staff available. Understandable when planning dates 6 months out but meant a delay of a month and, because news of the cancellation didn't come until the prior week, reduced my ability to make use of my time effectively.
Dr. Costa and his team make new patients feel right at home as soon as they walk in the door!
Extremely overpriced, unsatisfactory visit. Hygienist got me so wet my shirt was soaked. The charges were outrageously high. More than double what I pay my periodontist for a cleaning.

This is a great dental practice, all staff are friendly, welcoming, and very professional.
I just completed my first visit. I was extremely pleased with the service from the phone call to schedule and the check out process. Dr. Costa is very personable and gave me a thorough exam. I trust his advice and will follow through on care and treatment here.
Everything about Costa Family & Cosmetic Dentistry is top notch. Everyone working there is great at what they do, and they do it in a very compassionate and friendly manner. They also stay informed on and use the latest techniques and equipment. I've been a loyal patient with them for over ten years and my smile shows it.
Professional, friendly....always a pleasant experience.
