Price Transparency? Not Here. I phoned Precision Smiles to get a ballpark figure for a custom sleep-apnea appliance. The receptionist said she was not allowed to give any numbers “per Dr. Shai Patel’s instructions.” In other words, I’d have to pay for a consultation just to find out whether their fee is anywhere near reasonable. I told them I’d already heard quotes around $4,200 elsewhere and didn’t want to waste time or money if their price was in the same stratosphere. Dr. Patel is very through, explains everything very well. I especially like the fact he doesn’t try to do things that aren’t necessary just to make money.
Always great customer service. Very friendly staff and Dr. Patel always has smile on his face and a positive attitude.
