Best Internist - General Doctor - Primary care physician – My brother in law told me about Dr. Jacobs and I decided o switch doctors and start seeing him. I am glad I did. Amazing Internist in Sherman Oaks! – I have been going to Dr. Jacobs for several years now. He is such a great guy and a caring doctor. He slows down and really takes his time to figure out what is going on. I started back pain unlike the last few doctors I went to he did not just give me pain meds and send me off, he took time to ask about what my day is like, my posture during work, during exercise etc until we figured out what could be causing the pain. It was my pleasure to have met him. – I've lived in the area for a few years now and have been looking for a great Doctor from the beginning. Wonderful Physician – Dr. Jacobs is a wonderful physician who is not only intelligent and kind, but also really cares about his patients and their mental and physical well being. I recommend him to all my friends and family. I trust his opinion and have never had any problems or difficulties at his office or with his staff.

I feel fortunate to have him as a DR! – I moved to Studio City a while ago and had been looking for a good Internist/ Primary care physician. I found Dr. Shahram Jacobs on city search and I agree with the other reviewers. He is a REALLY good doctor! He has great bedside manner and really cares about his patients- IT SHOWS!

Best Internal Medicine Doctor in Sherman Oaks! – Rarely do you find a doctor that is also spiritually attuned. Its obvious that Dr. Shahram Jacobs is extremely up to date in what is going on in the medical field. He knows and tell you about the latest studies and how they relate to you. but the most amazing part is that he knows what is going on in mind-body research and how that plays a role in his patients' healthcare. great doctor! – My family and I have been Dr. Jacobs' patient for a while. He is such a wonderful person and a really caring doctor. He really digs deep into my medical history/life style to figure out exactly what is going on rather than just handing me some meds and telling me to come back. I really appreciate his effort/time, especially since most of the other good doctors have stopped taking insurances.

Orders expensive tests. – Was a patient for awhile and then he started ordering unnecessary and expensive tests that were not covered completely by insurance. He overcharged them and then slapped me with the remaining bills. Watch out, ask questions about price of procedures because, to me, he's just lining his pockets at your expense and health. IF YOU SMOKE HE CHARGES MORE!!! – As a doctor, nothing special. How ever i noticed two charges on both visits for "Bevhav. Chng. Smoking", when I called the office, I was told it was a smoking counseling service $40.00 out of pocket each visit 9-10 minutes. WHAT COUNSELING?? Not to mention and additional $40.00 (NOT covered either) for "previous medical counseling" medical info? What kind of doctor does that. I already paid for the $300.00 OFFICE VISIT.
