Had to send bag wings as asked for extra crispy...got them burnt black,,really..a chicken wing..come on guys!!!
Nice pub with good food. Great selection of beverages including local brews. The food was of restaurant quality with lots to choose from. Atmosphere was pleasant and wait staff personable. Recommend a stop if in the area.
Great place!! Friendly staff, amazing food!! The crab bisque, shrimp tacos, shrimp flat bread all got rave reviews from or table. I do however don't recommend the crab cake, being from MD and living in the south, it's hard to find a good one but my husband was really unhappy with this, filler and pimentos, he didn't finish it. Other than that, AMAZING!!!! It's 1.5 hrs from our house so we will be back!!
Visiting Oak Island for a long weekend and decided to try out Shagger Jacks on our last night (Sunday). We knew they closed at 9pm so we got there about 7:30 for dinner. We waited and waited for service. Our order was taken and after about 30-45 mins we still hadn't gotten our appetizers. After 9pm we were told our tickets hadn't been turned in. One of our favorite restaurants on the island! Great service and the specials are always excellent! The BELT is a hit with my entire family!

Love the place. Glad they've opened up for the season.
Never disappointed. Take my kids there for lunch dates, and never worry about recommending to clients. All I can say is, Gouda scalloped potatoes!!
