We had the burgers, they were really good, loved that we could bring our dog, we will be back.
Probably like our 3rd or 4th time eating here. Always good food and service. We visit yearly from Boone, NC, and Oak Island is like home too!!
Not a do-over for us. Steamed shrimp were overcooked (mushy). Service was slow due to only two people in the kitchen. Some of the sandwiches they were bringing out did look good.
Ate on the deck with my wife and our 3 kids, excellent service, great food and beer selection! Snagged a tee while I was there. Will be back next time in!

We always enjoy the fish tacos and double dipper fries. We prefer to sit outside but the host is always so cranky, we were afraid to ask both times we visit during our visit. Lord, he's cranky! Good thing the food is good!
We ate twice while on vacation here! The service was excellent and the food too! The owner is very friendly along with his employees.! Also loved the atmosphere of the place! We will definitely be going back next years vacation!
We go to Shagger Jacks every year when we come to the Island. It is something we look forward to. Sure was disappointed this year. Service was lousy and the food was sub-par. I had the fresh catch and it was over cooked and dry. Our orders came out wrong and we had to beg our waitress to get us our appetizers. Looks like we will be trying some place different next year.
Excellent - Every time we are here. Had a wait but it was worth it. Thank you for stopping the double dipper fries so you didn't run out of fries for everyone else. That shows you care about your customers not just their $$$
