RecommendedMoved to NC in April 2020. Once things started to reopen I discovered Shagger Jack’s and it quickly became my favorite restaurant. Good food and friendly servers! They really do make you feel like family!
OMG just got shrimp...so tender and buttery.
Found this place late looking for something open. Im so glad we did. We all enjoyed our meal. I had shrimp and grits and it was wonderful. Great sweet tea too. We will be back.
The BEST place to eat at Oak Island! My husband and I came for a date night - amazing atmosphere, friendly staff and divine food. What more could you ask for?! Planning on going back at least twice before our vacation is over!

Absolutely outstanding! The food was remarkable, SHRIMP TACOS all the way! The cook even came out to ask about our meal! The servers were fantastic! Megan and Lorie were fantastic! My father flew in from Colorado, and this was the first place we went! Couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Thank you!

Do NOT order from Shagger Jack's for curbside/pick up. Ordered at 6 pm.. 40 minute wait, get there at 6:40 pm. They see our order - then, it's clear it wasn't prepared yet. The manager also comes out to discuss with us about the delay of our food - it is 8 pm and the food STILL was not ready..did not offer to give meal for free or discounted (only desserts - I didn't want dessert from. there anyway).
