RecommendedOur favorite is the Fried Oyster Appetizer, we had the Black & Blu burger today for the first time and it was absolutely delish!!!
Terrible service 100% of the time. I’ve tried multiple times and horrible service each experience. Today was the worst. The manager was extremely rude, the waitress was inattentive and extremely rude. After eating at the restaurant and requesting a to-go bag, the manager snatched the bag from the patron to accuse her of not paying for a meal. Do NOT eat here if you hope to enjoy a meal.
We were told a 30 minute wait time but were seated a good bit over an hour. Service was lacking as every time someone from our table wanted/attempted to ask for anything the waitress would walk off. Crab cakes were undercooked, shrimp tacos with undercooked rice, just an oversell bad experience.

We have ordered from and eaten at Shagger Jacks for as long as they have been on the island. Love their food! However, very disappointed in the change in their call in orders. JUST placed order last weekend and all of a sudden it's changed. My husband went to the restaurant to place takeout order (b/c no one was answering phone but no problem - understand when they are busy) but was told we had to place order on new online takeout system.
