We were treated extremely rude just upon walking up to the restaurant. We were yelled at to wear a mask and the man working there put his hand on my back and practically pushed me off the deck area back to the parking lot bc we didn’t have a mask on to sit OUTSIDE! My children were already sitting at the table and we were basically forced to leave. RecommendedGreat food, Great service, Dog friendly! This is one of our favorite restaurants on the island! Brought our dog for the first time today and they kept him supplied with ice water and a dog biscuit.
Our family was treated very poorly upon arrival. We were putting masks on in the parking lot and an employee (possibly the owner) came towards us forcefully telling us to put our masks on. After we got to the host desk we were given a lecture on the importance of wearing a mask while we all had them on. Let me add that the employees were mostly wearing their masks under their chins and not doing the exact thing that he was lecturing about. Owner was very rude. My husband had medical exemption from wear a mask. We were denied service. A complaint has been filed with the Americans with Disabilities.
We had to search for a place to sit in the AC to have lunch today. SJ was busy but not packed and they were hustling to go orders like crazy! I had the seafood roll and chips - AHHHMAZING! They certainly did not skimp on the lobster meat in this sandwich! I hope that stays on the menu for a while. My daughter is gluten free and was in a picky mood today. So what did they do?
